Recruiting Students and Mentors

A course will only be offered when there are a sufficient number of committed students and enough mentors to form a sufficient number of project teams to cover the material of the course.

A course listing of a potential course indicates that there is a faculty member who is prepared to offer the course if there are enough qualified students and mentors.

Any would-be student can help a new course be offered by recruiting fellow students who are qualified and who wish to take the same course.  Typically each course will require a minimum of 30 to 60 students.  These students may be recruited like a pyramid.  The first student recruits four other students, each of whom recruits four more until the course is full.  To help you recruit friends to join you in a course, every course is offered tuition-free to non-credit students.

Students and affiliated companies who are interested in a particular course being offered may help by recruiting qualified mentors for the course.
